1. California Association of Professional Music Teachers Association (CAPMT) State Executive Board Position
I am honored to be elected to the Executive Board of CAPMT. I will be serving a two year term as Vice President of Districts and Chapters. I'm really excited about the people that are on the board and that I will be working with! I will continue to serve in the position of Vice President of the Santa Clara Valley Chapter. I feel lucky to have found such a wonderful and supportive organization!
2. Royal Conservatory of Music Certified Teacher
I will continue as a Certified Teacher through the Royal Conservatory of Music. I find their program very comprehensive and enjoy the training and experience that they offer to their certified teachers. Most of my students will continue to do assessments through the RCM/MDP.
3. Parent/Preschooler Group Classes Starting in September
I have been thinking about a group music class with preschoolers and their parents for the last couple of years.....I have finally decided to take the plunge!! I'm really excited about this new project and will be working on the curriculum over the next month, with the classes starting in September.
